ummmm the swatch x audemars piquet collaboration became a garbage fire FAST! a genius collaboration that totally rejuvenated swatch back into fashion's pulse (youth and high fashion folks combined) quickly turned into a mare for people worldwide. people waited in line for two nights for the Swatch stores to open globally, Soho included. the store in soho (amongst others) had to close due to overpopulation and [potential] safety issues (think, Black Friday on steroids).

tons of press coverage on this, even the NYT decided to chime in. social media posts from Swatch and AP too trying to tell people the watches will be available long-term to settle the people..

best part is.. hot take.. the watches are UgLy!
